Practice boards are for members. You must have your passport to practice card to use the practice boards. If you learned how to windsurf last year, but did not get your practice certificate, you can sign up for 4 lessons. At the first lesson, let the instructor know that you would like to be tested. During the on water portion of the lesson you will be tested and can do the written portion following that. Upon succesfull completion of these tests, you will receive your passport to practice card. The balance of the lessons can be used as practice on a first come first serve basis.
You can buy a set of 4 practice sessions for $80 dollars, There is no deposit required, but you may lose your sailing privileges if you don't follow the Instructors directions and LTW rules, including staying within the limited boundaries.
Practice sessions are held every day at the same times as lessons. Practice boards are available on a first booked first reserved basis(so book early as we are limited to 12 boards per session).
For both lessons and drop in practice, please arrive at least 15 minutes before session start to register.
Lessons & practice sessions include use of sailboard & sail, lifejacket, and wetsuit ( if needed). Please bring your own water shoes as we have a limited selection of sizes.
