Fees for all courses are $175 for TWC members and $275 for non-members, plus HST. The member discount of $100 (40%) pays for the cost of membership after one course. Join TWC, enjoy all membership benefits and save on any further courses this season.

TWC's classic starter package. Key concepts and skills include:
- uphauling and steering
- basic tacks and gybes
- rigging, launching, landing and water safety
Upon completion of the Beginner course, students should be able to satisfy about 50% of the requirements for CANSail Windsurf 1.
Continue to master the basics. Key concepts and skills include:
- improved balance and control
- steadier tacks and gybes
- better understanding of wind and sail trim
After completion of Next Step, most students should also be able to satisfy all of the requirements for CANSail Windsurf 1.
Gain more confidence and improve your moves. Key concepts and skills include:
- better confidence and control in stronger wind
- faster tacks and gybes
- try a harness, bigger sail or faster board
Students may choose to repeat Skill Builder as often as they like and work towards completion of CANSail Windsurf 2. Two or more sessions may be required to achieve this CANSail level.
CANSail Windsurf, the new national training standards for windsurfing from Sail Canada, spans six levels from basics to advanced racing.
Students who wish to develop their skills beyond TWC's existing Learn to Windsurf courses are encouraged to inquire about private lessons, special clinics, TWC's annual trip to Cape Hatteras as well as club races and regattas.
